The annual Europeana conference is the leading event in the world of digital cultural heritage, and this year, we are delighted to put the focus on all things tech for EuropeanaTech 2023 – Explore, Engage, Experience: cultural heritage in the data space and beyond. Led by the experts, developers and researchers from the R&D sector who make up our EuropeanaTech community, the event will explore all the new developments and technologies that will support the growth of the common European data space for cultural heritage. We are delighted to announce that EuropeanaTech 2023 will be taking place in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 10 – 12 October 2023.
For the EuropeanaTech conference 2023, you are able to choose between attending in The Hague, or online, you can choose what experience suits you best.
This year we offer a variety of tickets so please read carefully before purchasing tickets.
The tickets to choose from are:
– Workshop ticket – in person only (10 October)
– 2-day ticket (11 & 12 October)
– 3-day ticket (10, 11 & 12 October)
– Online tickets – free to everyone and tickets are unlimited!
On Tuesday 10 October, a diverse range of in-person-only workshops will be offered on-site at the KB, National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague, starting at 13:00, followed by an informal reception.
On Wednesday 11 October, we will start the programme at 09:30 and the programme will offer a nice range of topics brought to you in person or digitally at Beeld en Geluid The Hague. You may expect plenary sessions and many parallel sessions to choose from. The afternoon will be closed with a nice network reception at the venue.
On Thursday 12 October we will start at 09:00 and end at around 13:00 and continue with a programme that will offer interactive and engaging sessions around the themes Explore, Engage, and Experience.
