Conference “Interoperability of Data of Cultural Heritage Institutions in the Digital Space: Terminological Aspect”

On October 8, 2021, the National Library of Latvia and the Information and Documentation Terminology Subcommittee of the Terminology Committee of the Latvian Academy of Sciences will hold an annual terminology conference. The theme of this year’s conference – “Interoperability of Data of Cultural Heritage Institutions in the Digital Space: Terminological Aspect”. Conference will be held online on ZOOM platform.

The colleagues from Estonia and Lithuania, as well as Finland and Germany, will share their experience, achievements, and challenges on cooperation opportunities in the integration of digital object data, especially the issue of semantic interoperability. Experts from the NLL and representatives of the University of Latvia, the Information and Library Studies Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences will also present their research and experience.

The target audience of the conference: representatives of cultural heritage institutions, library specialists and specialists from related institutions, students, specialists in terminology work and interested persons.

Conference language: English. Participation in the conference – free of charge.
